Purpose
This committee gives students the opportunity to contribute as the university develops a diversity and equity plan that reflects students’ needs. Advisory members will be responsible for providing feedback and ideas that can improve the student experience.
The advisory group will help facilitate the flow of information in both directions and is intended to be a dynamic, quick-paced task force that provides a testing ground for ideas. It creates an essential feedback loop between DEI and the student body.
Progress
Project leads have made recommendations to the DEI Leadership Team regarding advisory group membership, formation of positions and roles and expected accountability.
